Indian guy causcasian girl - need your advice for sucesfull dating?

I have been dating an Indian guy (born in India) and now working in UK for 2 months and I am Caucasian. He is comming form a very traditional family, and is torn between his wish to be in harmony with is parents and his longing to be free and be with me. I need your advice about how to make our relationship last and work out the eventual problems?

He is of course afraid to tell his parents about us, and anyway it is a too early starge of a relationship anyway. And also he is very honest to me, and he is not one of the sweet talking Inidan guys who promiss golden hills and then return to India and marry a girl their parents chose for him. He actually already told his parents that he does not want an arranged marriage and that he wnats to choose his partner when he wants.

So I am now open to hear advices about HOW will and can our relationship WORK OUT inspite of the difficulties and potential problems wit his parents. I know it is difficult, but hay, give me a chance to try!Indian guy causcasian girl - need your advice for sucesfull dating?
Seek other couples who have a mixed relationship. My brother is caucasian and his wife is indian and they make BEAUTIFUL babies. ';A bit white says the moter in law..'; haha '; a bit dark we retort back'; and everyone laughs and looks at the beautiful babies.

Understand the cultural issues - learn about them - show respect o them. You may not be the wife they wanted but you will endear youself to them by having taken the time to understand their beliefs and demonstrating them.

Learning increases knowledge and knowledge reduces fear. If you reduce fear you reduce anxiety.

And nothing is a problem when two people are committed.

Have fun and be joyous in the problems and challenges - it gves you a real reason to learn about it.

u cannot have the better man then me to answer this question because im Indian born in the UK and much better looking.

Furthermore all my girlfriends have been white.

Indian familes are very traditional and very religious my advice to u is respect his parents views because not to put u off but they can be nasty only some though. If u both really like each other believe me it can work u just need to prove to his family ur dedicated to be with this guy.

All the best good luck xxIndian guy causcasian girl - need your advice for sucesfull dating?
U have all the chance in the world, he is with u, go slow but capture his heart fully, do not worry about problem with his parents. Time is changing, parents views are changing, love lasts, so do your best to win his love. But go slow, because indian boys r somewhat slow but steady. U must capture his heart so slowly and simply, that before he knows it, he is in the net.
try getting to know his parents, they'll see that your a good person and they'll learn to accept you

African American dating customs? I Need Advice?

I am an African guy dating an African American girl and I really love her! Now I would like your help in understanding the African American dating customs. I want to be better and be the man for her in every way no matter the differences in our culture.African American dating customs? I Need Advice?
To be 100% honest with you, when I think of an African man I would think that he's very traditional and maybe what he learned at home is that the man has the power and the woman is inferior. An African-American woman will not tolerate that.

I do not mean to offend you, I know that Africa has many many different groups that have very different customs. Maybe in some of them, the women have power? From my experience though, African men expect their women to listen to their every command.

The best advice I can give you on dating an African-American woman is to treat her as an equal, treat her respectfully.African American dating customs? I Need Advice?
Well, take her to to dinner, to movies, for walks, and romantic stuff like that. Occasionally, treat her somewhere expensive. Be a gentlemen, hold doors open and stuff. Show her how much you love her. Kiss her at the end of the date, and if you guys are close enough, kiss her during the date as well. Give her your undivided attention.
Yes buy some pants that fits you twice as big so you can wear them half off your ***, get some tattoos like little wayne and when you say a sentence make sure you used the N word a couple of times in it!! Blackwomen love a Thug!!
Your culture is our culture. You do the same exact thing any other American man does for his woman.

Tell her she's pretty, hug and kiss her every now and then and don't cheat on her. Happily ever after.
Be yourself and ask her is it any cultural differences that annoy her or need to be addressed if not dont worry about it ... ask only like twice to make sure she aint lyin it off the first time its great to hear of Black love ...good luck
African American girls are just like any other American girl. They all fall into the same culture. You should show her how you get down and tell her where she got her roots from.
The African guys I know are pretty honest...so live the difference...

I haven't dated in a couple of years, but I want to get back 'in the game', so to speak. Any advice?

I mostly stopped dating because my first, and as of yet only, declared himself gay not long after he broke up with me. Ever since then, I've been worried about dating. It doesn't help either that I have problems meeting new people either. Anyone willing to give me a hand?I haven't dated in a couple of years, but I want to get back 'in the game', so to speak. Any advice?
I'm in the same boat and I just decided that you have to draw the line somewhere because seriously how long can you go on not living your life? It's tough and there's not personal advice I can give but the best way I can put is like how my grandma describes it when she talks about me and being saved from God: ';Your just not ready to accept it yet';. One thing I do think is that everyone moves at their own pace so while you deal with this don't judge yourself by everyone else standards. Judge yourself by your own standards.I haven't dated in a couple of years, but I want to get back 'in the game', so to speak. Any advice?
You should not worry about that, you did not make him gay and his gayness has nothing to do with you. I'm sure that its hard, but just try and forget about it. Start by just become friend with some guys until you start to feel more comfortable.

hope this helps

Why is dating so difficult...need advice??

I met a guy on Match.com, we went out to dinner as friends. Because he says we live to far apart to date, (just opposite end of the city, like 45 min apart) I didnt think I would like him but I do. He is attractive and Iam attracted to his personality. ( we have talked via e-mail quite a bit also). He has just lately told me that he is very attracted to me also. And flirts alot with me, But says we can only hang out as friends that no dating to much distance. Even told him he dosnt have to be nice I rather know your not intrested than you just try n to b a nice guy! The last week I have asked him to hang out 2 times and he says he very busy but will try to make time! Should I keep trying or hang up the towel on him?????Why is dating so difficult...need advice??
just hang up the towel...i'm sure that you'll find someone that is worth it, I'm sorry but he's not...people are different in person than through the net....good luckWhy is dating so difficult...need advice??
no guy is ever worth that much trouble. if he keeps making excuses about not wanting to spend time with you then he is not worth the trouble. and in the long run if he does make time for you then you will always be on his back burner because he is makeing the time because he feels sorry for you.
In my opinion, give him one more chance..you guys are just friends still. And I'd give to be 45 mins. from my bf...try like 15 HOURS
It sounds to me like he wants to keep his options open. If he was really into wanting to date you, he would make it work. 45 minutes is no big deal. If you really like the guy, try one more time. After that, don't waste anymore time. Move on and find a guy who wants to be with you as much as you want to be with him.
Take a hint. He's not interested. Move on.
Sounds like he isn't interested in being partners but doesn't want to hurt you, be friends but don't push the relationship further and don't let him have you as a friend with benifits or else why commit?

  • Seeking advice on older man dating younger woman with small children?

please provide some insight to above question. I have a nervous male friend in mid fifties, deciding wether or not to enter a relationship with woman in early thirties and two small children. Am looking for preferably positive suggestions, but will also accept the negativeSeeking advice on older man dating younger woman with small children?
The woman is in her thirties so she is mature enough that I don't see why he should be so nervous. His biggest concern should be if he is interested still in helping raise children. Being in his fifties that is probably the only thing he should be worried about. Beyond that if he loves her and she loves him, then more power to him.Seeking advice on older man dating younger woman with small children?
So, you're attracted to him because he can support your kids and your own tail.

LOL.. He's such a loser. He can't get a woman with no kids at home.
He should just get to know her and see if he likes her enough to take the next step and get involved with the kids. Older guys are great and younger women love the stability they can provide while rocking his world.
This is a new time and place in American history. This scenario is very common, especially in California.
When his grandkids visit they will have playmates.
Tell him to take his time and try not to rush things with the kids, just be their friends first and don't give up if it doesn't happen right away.
LET YOUR CHILDREN TO PLAY IN LAWN. AND YOU ENJOY WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND IN ROOM.
