Dating advice?

A friend of mine constantly talks about a waitress, rather a seater give him all smiles when he walks in and has been curious of who he is eating with, when he walked in alone and said someone was accompining him later. she asked him who he eat with. Is this good for him, or is she just doing what all workers do in a restuarant.Dating advice?
She may just be being a professional. Obviously he eats there a lot so she is accustomed to seeing him around and is showing good customer service. I am a cocktail server at a casino and have a lot of regulars. I do much the same thing. I genuinely like my regulars, but I am not interested in dating them.

She could be interested, but I woudn't assume it on that behavior alone.Dating advice?
The smiles are all part of being a seater. Sounds like the questions are getting personal, but then she might be that kind of girl.

He really just has to pick up on the vibes. If he senses she's flirting then she probably is. Also, you have to look at the facts.

If she's 10 years older, a drop dead bombshell and your friend's pretty shy and all, he's probably just dreaming, but if the shoe fits...
thats her job...ur friend is concieted
shes a friken waitress. she does this to everyone. if she really liked him shed probably give him free stuff and things like that
she's interested in him and is just asking questions to see if he already has a girlfriend. if he's interested too he should ask her out.
Just falls in the job description.
A hostess should smile at all customers. She should also ask who will be meeting you so she can recognize your dining partners when they come in and show them to your table.

This doesn't mean your friend shouldn't ask her out if he likes her. It just means that maybe he's looking for an excuse to ask.
