K so i started seeing this really shy girl and we've gone on two dates( a movie and dinner) i know they arent very good places to go i guess... However she never really talks much and im trying so hard to get her to open up.... I even made a stupid mistake to ask her if she actually wanted to be in a relationship... but she said yes... so anyways i just wanted to know how i could get her to talk to me more. ( My friend told me that she said she is shy cuz im like the first guy that has ever taken her out on dates b4)....but she has had boyfriends so im confused. talk about the most embarrassing you and she have done, phobia, and anything that makes her feel uncomfortable or unsafe.... they open up if you tell her you'll be there for her, phobia moment, and embarrassing moment. guarrantee she'll be smiling and talking to you about everything she wants to talk about.
You honestly can't expect her to open up to you right away, but slowly she will most likely progress at feeling more comfortable around you if you just stay patient with her and make her laugh and don't make her feel more awkward if she doesn't talk, shy girls can't stand being called out for being shy.
Movies are very good places to go on dates. They are fun and you can talk about the movies. If you really think you like this girl, just keep asking her questions. What does she want to do, what movies or books or classes does she like and why? Does she like sports, what teams? Does she have any hobbies? How about her family and friends? TV shows? Things she would like to do? Ask her to plan a date.
Hopefully, she will eventually relax and talk. Otherwise, you'll have to decide if you really do like her and enjoy her company. Good luck, she may be really worth it so hang in there for awhile.
take her to a fun place to break the ice, idk mini golf, go karts, something like that will get her to have fun and open up faster

firstly, you should just enjoy her company and be grateful that you can spend your time with someone you really, really like.
and then, a great way to get her to open up, is to simply ask her any questions about herself. anything that you want to know about her, just ask her. 'what do you think of...?' - make sure they're open-ended questions, so she can carry on if she wants to. also, the more open-ended the questions are the more you will learn about her true opinions on things.
also try and make her laugh when you can. make jokes about things around you and point out anything funny. it will make her feel more relaxed and willing to open up to you :) x
I would take her on a group date. She might feel intimidated. Also when you're taking her out by herself be casual. Obviously her boyfriends haven't been the dating types, the friends turned boyfriend sort of deal. That's what my boyfriend was and it worked for us.
Try taking her on a more interactive date, that might help her to loosen up, like some sort of class or an art exhibit. Instead of quietly watching a movie and then just sitting around some more eating dinner.
I was a shy girl, but I guess in a different way. For me, I just needed time. After a few dates, she might get more comfortable and will want to open up. Take her out on dates that will promote casual conversation. If you take her to a movie, she won't talk. Take a walk together, go bowling, continue the dinners. Try to figure out what she is interested in, and talk about that.
right u ask her and she says yes if it was like end of the world. so she like u go it, so kiss her that will 100% get her talking well not at kiss but the next day she will.
