Relationship advice: 28 and dating 23 year old thats about to enter dental school?

I'm 28 and I'm dating a 23 year old who will be entering dental school in a few months. We've been dating almost a year.

Her school is about an hour and a half away and I have a pretty demanding job. I care about her a lot, but sometimes feel we are at different parts of our lives. A part of me wants to wait it out, but another part of me wants to end things to avoid the disaster that may lay ahead.

Am I wrong for thinking like this? Has anyone gone through anything like this? If so, what was the outcome?

Hey, you two definitely at very different stages in life and maintaining this relationship will be hard for both of you. However, only YOU know whether she is worth all that. You say you care about her and a part of you does want to wait it out, I would say do that.

It is not at all wrong to think like this, you are just assessing your relationship. I haven't been through anything like this but I'd say stick with her through this if you really care for her.

Best of luck to both of you,

Hope this helps!
